The big movie news of the day has to be that Robert Rodriguez, the mastermind behind such diverse titles as Spy Kids and Desperado, has decided to adapt the cartoon Jonny Quest for the big screen. He's also set to tweak the script by Dan Mazeau, alongside Terry Rossio, who has worked on the scripts for the Pirates films as well as the Zorro franchise. The Hanna Barbera cartoon ran for one season in the 60's, before having several remake/reboot attempts. Hey, it can't suck as bad as Speed Racer, right? RIGHT?
