Rob Kazinsky Talks to E! Online About Ben and Nudity

E! Online’s Marc Malkin seems to have a theme when it comes to interviewing the men of True Blood. Earlier this week we posted an interview with Joe Manganiello (Alcide Herveaux) about a threesome on the show. Today we’re focusing on Rob Kazinsky who plays new fairy Ben Flynn and being naked on the set. According to the British actor he’s setting new records:

“I was told that I’m most naked character they’ve had over the course of one season.”

Despite that however, Rob is still only one of several very good looking men to be naked on the show including Joe and Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse):

“I really wish I could say a lot [but] on your first day when you come to set and you got Joe Manganiello and you got Ryan Kwanten, you just realize that no matter how much you work out, genetics do everything. There’s no point in trying too hard.”

Rob did have to try hard for his role in the upcoming sci-fi film Pacific Rim which called for him to gain 40lbs by working out 5 hours a day and eating up to 12,000 calories:

“It’s really really really hard. And we did because in the original script there were a lot of topless scenes but then when we got up there after putting all that effort in, just Charlie Hunnam’s getting naked.”

As for being naked for scenes with Anna Paquin’s Sookie Stackhouse, Rob says that she couldn’t have been more wonderful and the same goes for Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton). Moyer was present for and directed some naked scenes between the two but he just encouraged Rob and Anna to do what they needed to do for the scene.

That explains why Rob called Stephen the nicest guy in Hollywood! Click the image below to see the video interview with Rob from the True Blood season 6 premiere:
