Plot of Ripe for the Picking Season 1

The series stars Koharu Kusumi as Maiko Kôsaka, the main lead. Maiko is a 32 years office going lady who is struggling with a secret that she is still a virgin. She wants to change her life and experience a relationship.

The official synopsis says, “An unassuming office lady decides to finally get the relationship experience she lacks. But dating means dealing with men and her inner struggles.”

As of now, the romantic-drama series, Ripe for the Picking, has not been renewed. In April 2020, the first shot drama was released through Houbunsha’s Weekly Manga Times magazine. Later in July 2020, the full chapter was released.

The first drama premiered in January 2024 and continues until March 2024. C&I Entertainment is the publishing studio of the series, and TBS is the original network.
