
Wednesday saw the passing of Bob Hoskins. Short, gravel voiced and ferocious, Hoskins racked up a long and diverse film career: Royal Flash, Zulu Dawn, Brazil, Mona Lisa, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Hook and Nixon. But his best, and most iconic role is London crime boss Harold Shand in The Long Good Friday.
