Back in January Rimmel finally launched the Apocalips lip lacquer. I saw and read so many posts about these before they come out and I new I had to have them. As a brand I really like Rimmel they are so affordable and do so many different products.
Are they worth the hype?
Yes 100% it's a must have in my makeup collection now and I think everyone should at least try them. The packaging on them is really nice and lightweight so you can easily just throw one in your handbag. The do a total of 8 shades from nude to purple. I purchased 3 of them, Celestial, Nova and Stellar. I will purchase all the other shades eventually.
What's the formula like?
Very very nice! They apply so easily to the lips you don't have to put any effort it whatsoever. They are very moisturising, silky and are non-sticky. Which is perfect for me as I hate sticky lip glosses. When you first apply them they are very glossy but after a little while they start to go matte and look more like a lipstick. I would say they stay put for around 5 hours which is amazing!! Below are the shades I picked up!
Celestial and Nova are quite similar but Stellar is very different and kind of red. I have swatched them on the back of my had which I will show now!
My favorite is probably celestial as its a very wearable color and looks good with everything. I got these from boots they were £5.49 each and I got them on a 3for2 offer which is still available now!!!
