Rihanna Has Taken Her Roc Nation Relationship To A New Plateau . The Pop Stars Contract With Def Jam Has Expired And She’s Now Officially A Roc Nation Artist .
It Was In 2005 That Rihanna Walked Into Def Jam And, Then President Jay z Wouldnt Let Her Walk Out Without Having Signed A Contract . Flash Forward Nearly 15 Years And Seven Studio Albums Later Not Much Has Changed Except , Jay Forming His Own Label And Rih Has Followed In Her Mentors Path .
The Label Change Occured In April And While She Is Technically A Roc Nation Artist , Def Jam Will Still Help In Marketing , Promoting And The Distribution Of Her Music . Congratulations On Her New Venture & A New Album Is Expected Soon
