On her last appearance on Oprah, Rihanna openly confessed to the 58 years old talk show host that she missed her ex-boyfriend, 23 year old, Chris Brown.
Rihanna tells Oprah, “I am reminded by a lot of things. A lot of good memories we had. By the slightest things: hotel rooms, tour venues. Any little thing: music, songs. And I do miss him at times.”
After the incident, that left Rihanna cut and bruised, Brown accepted a plead deal of community labor, five years’ probation and domestic violence counseling. But much more than that was put on the star.
As Brown’s public image took a hard hit, Rihanna says she felt protected by the people who supported her. She admitted, however, that she was worried more about Brown than herself, saying that fans would see him as a monster.
Although she refers to the whole incident as a circus, calling it “embarrassing,” and “humiliating,” she says she’s still having a hard time letting go of Brown. “I lost my best friend. Everything I knew switched, switched in a night, and I couldn’t control that.”
