All Ceylon Restaurant Owners’ Association President Asela Sampath said yesterday (5) that the price of a rice packet, kottu roti and fried rice will be reduced by 20 percent and the price of a tea by Rs.10 and the new price will come into effect from midnight yesterday. Sampath said restaurant owners should give relief to the customers by reducing Rs.100 from a packet of kottu which is Rs.500 at present.
The price of rice packet which is Rs.300 should be reduced by Rs.60 and a plain tea which is Rs.30 should also be reduced by Rs.10
