My Thoughts:
A few years ago, I made the biggest mistake of my life by going to an unknown stylist to get my hair chemically processed. I was becoming extremely fed-up with my unmanageable hair to where I resorted to a chemical straitening to make my morning routine a bit more simpler. The result of that chemical process end up making my hair fall out to the point of no return....literally. I have tried everything imaginable to regrow my thinning hair but to date nothing has worked. Not only that my hair became extremely dry over the years which caused my hair to break from root to end. Sadly, I have resorted to wearing my hair in buns or ponytails so that the little strands left would not show.
I have been using several products from the NEW Dove Nourishing Oil Care line that has tremendously help rebuild the shine to my dull, dry thinning hair. My hair is more manageable than before and the soft shine makes my hair looks much more lustrous. Although it has not helped with the growth it has helped my hair look great especially when going out on the town. I wanted to give this product a few months before I gave a review as I wanted to see if the nourishing oils would leave a lasting effect over several uses. I would say that after using this product for 2 1/2 months my hair now shines and glow all on it's on without having to use the product daily. I would also like to mention that even though my hair is pretty thin the shampoo and conditioner does somehow make my hair look fuller.
Overall, I highly recommend the NEW Dove Nourishing Oil Care Collection for those who are experiencing dry, rough and frizzy hair as this product does exactly as promised. But keep in mind that it may take a few weeks to a month to see actual results but it's definitely worth the wait. I can't really comment on if it helps with hair growth but it definitely works if you are trying to turn your hair into beautifully smooth hair.
Also if you are looking for an instant quick shine, I highly recommend the Dove Hair Nourishing Oil Care Serum as this stuff is amazing and it doesn't weigh your hair down. Please note that you would only need to use a very small amount so that your hair wont get to greasy.
