The first half of this book dragged and dragged and dragged. The second half was much better but it couldn't save the book for me. It felt like more of a mythological story than the others. I loved the ending of this book and series. Perfecto. I never really warmed up to Adelina or any of the characters. Surprisingly, I found Toren to be the most well-developed character. I loved how everything came full circle.
On the narrators...
As always, Ms. Corvo and Mr. Killea did a great job. I'd definitely recommend this series on audio.
Overall...
The slow start of this one really prevented me from enjoying this one, but I did like how the series wrapped up. I'd recommend this series to lovers of Fantasy and the antihero.
