REVIEW: Tanya Burr Lipgloss - Picnic in the Park

As soon as Tanya Burr launched her #TanyaBurrLipsandNails range I knew Picnic in the Park was the shade I needed to have. I have been following Tanya for a while and I was so excited when she announced she was launching her own makeup. It took me ages to track this baby down I couldn't find it anywhere as it was always out of stock but a few weeks ago I finally got my hands on it.

I'm pretty sure you will all know who Tanya is but if you don't she is a YouTuber/ Blogger from the UK. She is what I guess you would call 'famous' in the blogging world. She is also a makeup artist so she knows a thing or two about makeup.

Now onto the star of the show - Picnic in the Park. I have worn this lipgloss nearly everyday since I got my hands on it. The packaging is very simple but sleek, it has an adorable pink heart on the top of the tube. She also has her signature on the gloss which I think is a really nice touch and it works well. Like most glosses she has gone for the clear packaging which shows the colour of the product.

REVIEW: Tanya Burr Lipgloss - Picnic in the Park

As you can see by the picture the applicator is a really unique shape I haven't seen one like it before. It's wider at the top and smaller at the bottom which I love as it makes application so easy. When you remove the applicator from the tube you are left with the perfect amount of product, one of my biggest hates is when you get way to much product on the applicator.

The colour of this product is great for spring/summer 2014 and I know it is going to be a firm staple in my collection. The gloss itself is a lot more pigmented than I was expecting and it gives a really nice colour pay off. You can build it up more though if you desire. This gloss lasts reasonably well on myself even with eating and drinking, I would say around 2-3 hours. The main thing I love about the formula of this product is the fact it isn't sticky. It's really moisturising and makes my lips feel super soft.

I am really impressed with this product and will definitely pick up some more shades, if you have any recommendations please let me know below.
