Taj Foods Aloe Vera Drink
Apologies for the lack of reviews this week, I have been a bit poorly with a cold so I haven't been able to taste my food! Anyway I am over it now and today I am reviewing a product which seems quite appropriate with it's claims of boosting immunity!
I was sent these bottles of Aloe Vera Drink from TAJ foods and it's something that I have wanted to try for a while but I have to admit after the coconut water disappointment of last year I have to say I was a little wary of what it was going to taste like.
Aloe Vera is reported to be packed with all sorts of vitamins and minerals and it also apparently aids detox. These drinks from TAJ Foods are low sugar and also claim to be energising. They are made from 46% aloe vera (30% juice and 16% pulp) and I was sent a bottle of the original flavor and strawberry flavor but there are others such as mango and passionfruit.

I have to admit that the pulp looked a little bit weird. I mean I like pulp in my orange juice but these were some big bits and I was a little concerned about the texture but I hardly noticed it when I drank the drink.
Taste-wise I was surprised at how lovely and refreshing it was. It's quite hard to describe the taste but it had a tropical feel to it and was very fresh and sweet. The strawberry version which contains strawberry juice, was even sweeter and I think that the original was the nicer of the 2 flavours,
Verdict
I can't vouch for all the benefits of these Aloe Vera drinks and I suppose that it's something you would have to try over time to see if it works for you but I enjoyed the taste and as far as The Review Addict is concerned that is the most important thing.
