I have been waiting months to get my hands on the follow-up to Aurora Sky:Vampire Hunter. This summer I had my second child(My perfect daughter Harvey) and I was so busy being a mom, that I missed the release of Northern Bites! So, as soon as I saw that it was out, I purchased it, put my other reading on hold, and read it immediately. She is sensing changes in her-self that are frightening and give her a real fear about what the government has done to her body. There is too much going on for her to worry about her blood lust, with a new series of murders emerging. She must rely on her enemy and new partner (and super bratty boyfriend stealing) Valerie to have her back as they investigate the murders. Be prepared for the thrilling chase with lots of twists to find the vampire responsible. Now, I’m sure you are just wanting me to get out with it… the whole Fane thing. Well, they did break up at the end of book 1. I was mad at Fane for going back to Valerie so quickly, and i’m not going to lie, after finishing Northern Bites, I am more confused then ever. However, my lips are sealed on the subject, no spoilers and all that.
