What we ate

Paneer tikka and Choley Batura to start. Firm and fragrant paneer, coated in spices that gave a good kick. Choley Batura is fried bread served with masala chickpeas. Both filling starters.

Next up was Chicken Bhuna and Indian mince n tatties! Good chunks of chicken in a garlicky tomato sauce. The mince n tatties were indeed an Indian twist on a Scottish classic. Not spicy but a mellow warmth.

Verdict

One to think of for a pre-theatre meal. We chose the 5pm website deal which was £19.95 each for two courses including a drink. We paid a supplement for the paneer dish.

Happy full bellies.
