Review: Lush's Brimstone Shower Scrub     $4.95 for 4.9 oz
Hey everyone!
Last week, my cousin went to Lush for the first time, and was overwhelmed by everything there. All the different products to smell and try left her in there for hours, and made her spend $230! It is very easy to spend some big bucks there though!
She picked me up a Brimstone shower scrub while there.
I like it, but it is not my favorite scrub. On the site it states: "Don't worry; the apocalypse isn't coming quite yet. Brimstone was inspired by our UK team member Shakira's visit to St. Lucia, where they use sulfur for all manner of skin complaints. Brimstone is a deeply fragrant, hardcore body scrub, with natural sulfur to condition the skin and keep it clear of problems."
Before I used  it, I let it sit out on my dresser in my room, and closed my door. It smells so nice that after about a half hour, my room smelled like Jasmine. It is really soothing.
On the site, it says you can either use it a a whole or split it up into pieces. I used it as a whole, but found it really hard to handle. As soon as it gets wet, it starts to crumble like sand. I decided that to save it, I had to hold it in one hand and use my other to scrape off layers of it, and used that to scrub my skin.
I really liked the fact that it didnt scratch me like some other scrubs I used. The only issue I had with it was that after I used it on my legs, my legs felt a little like they had some razor burn. Maybe it was a bad reaction from my skin, but after I rinsed it off, the burning went away and it didn't leave any red marks or anything.
Other than that, I did like it. It left my skin really smooth, and glowing. I would buy this again, but I don't think it will be a priority.
What do you guys think about Lush body scrubs?
