L'Occitane Shea Butter Rose Petal Hand Cream £8

I think the best word to sum up the L'Occitane Rose Petal Hand Cream is, wow! I'm a L'Occitane newbie so this is my first product of their range that I have tried. The hand cream didn't cost me a penny as it came free with the November issue of Marie Claire. The magazine was £3.70, but the product is usually £8.00 so it seemed a worthwhile investment. Also knowing that they are limited edition makes it even more exciting that I got my hands on them. You know how good a hand cream is going to be the minute you squeeze some onto your hand. The texture of the cream itself was so silky and light. Some hand creams can be really thick and heavy, depending on what type of skin they are targeting.
I first applied this cream yesterday to the upper part of my hand and I have to say I just wanted to keep re-applying. The smell of rose petals was so sweet and delicious, and afterwards it's difficult to not keep smelling your hands. My hands this morning are so silky soft which I believe was achieved by the shea butter. If you suffer from Dry Skin, there is also a blue tube available purposely for this, you have to choose whichever suits you best.
My view summed up: I have only tried it a few times but such a highly recommended product, that I have already decided I will invest in it once it runs out. I have also purchased some tickets to the L'Occitane Beauty Evening which is in November. The evening will be full of indulgence, with drinks and canapés, a goody bag for each crammed with products, and also a 15% discount on the night. Find out more on the Marie Claire Website here
