Description:
Atticus O'Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn't care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they're badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II. With a fallen angel feasting on local high school students, a horde of Bacchants blowing in from Vegas with their special brand of deadly decadence, and a dangerously sexy Celtic goddess of fire vying for his attention, Atticus is having trouble scheduling the witch hunt. But aided by his magical sword, his neighbor's rocket-propelled grenade launcher, and his vampire attorney, Atticus is ready to sweep the town and show the witchy women they picked the wrong Druid to hex

My Rating: Review: Hexed (Audiobook)
My Review:
Hexed picks up right where Hounded left off.  Although Atticus has defeated his arch enemy there are loose ends that need to be tied up.  There are demons flying around looking for Atticus, Atticus still distrusts the local witches and they him, and he's got to clean up the damage to the earth left by the horrible disaster.  On top of all of this, there are some new people in town who don'be believe that Atticus should be there.  Atticus must rush to settle an old score and protect those he has come to care about.
Overall...
Hexed is just as awesome as Hounded and I really enjoyed it.  I love how the action gets started and it never stops.  Atticus stays true to character and I love how he thinks and acts like he is a 2000 year old Druid.  It always seems confusing to me when we have characters who are supposed to have lived for hundreds of years and they still act 15.  Although, I find Oberron to be a bit annoying, I love all the other side characters.  They add a different type of humor to the events.  This is a series that you'd probably want to start from book one since it picks up as soon as Book 1 ends.  While the reader knows the subject of book three, there aren't any cliff hangers and each story has a resolution to the immediate conflict.  The narrator, Mr. Daniels, again did a wonderful job and I really really like that I don't have to pronounce all the names that he has to say.  It just makes it so much easier for me to enjoy the story.  I plan to complete the series on audio.
I'm really so glad that Missie inspired me to start this series with her readalong (even though I couldn't keep up).  This series is definitely a gem.
