Review: Existence by Abbi Glines Synopsis Review: Existence by Abbi Glines
What happens when you're stalked by Death? You fall in love with him, of course.
Pagan Moore doesn't cheat Death, but instead, falls in love with him.
Seventeen year old Pagan Moore has seen souls her entire life. Once she realized the strangers she often saw walking through walls were not visible to anyone else, she started ignoring them. If she didn't let them know she could see them, then they left her alone. Until she stepped out of her car the first day of school and saw an incredibly sexy guy lounging on a picnic table, watching her with an amused smirk on his face. Problem is, she knows he's dead.
Not only does he not go away when she ignores him, but he does something none of the others have ever done. He speaks. Pagan is fascinated by the soul. What she doesn't realize is that her appointed time to die is drawing near and the wickedly beautiful soul she is falling in love with is not a soul at all.
He is Death and he's about to break all the rules.

Look at those eyes! I could stare at this cover all day, no joke. I'm not usually one for people on the cover but this one is just so alluring. I won't lie, I wanted to read it simply because I wanted to look at those eyes whenever I wanted to. They're just so... awesome!
Review: Existence by Abbi Glines Characters Review: Existence by Abbi Glines
I noticed that everyone in the book had unique names. That is pretty great. I mean, it's not every day that you read about people named Pagan... or Dank. His was definitely my favorite name for certain reasons I shall not classify. Each character in this book was fantastic. Pagan was a little too soft for me but I have a feeling she will redeem herself in the next installment of the series. Miranda was my favorite character by far. I love quick and witty and she engulfed that ish like she owned it.
Obviously I didn't like Kendra very much but that's to be expected. Any girl who will do anything for a guy's attention needs to be bitch slapped with some sense. This girl may have been through a "rough" time as Lief called it, but there's no excuse for how she acts. If I was her mom, she'd be going straight to boot camp.
Review: Existence by Abbi Glines Story Review: Existence by Abbi Glines
It was refreshing to read a book with a lot of sarcasm and quick wit. As a lover of all things ghostly, this book was right up my alley. I'm not sure exactly what direction the story will go in but I'm excited to see. There's one really good creepy part that I really enjoyed involving a hospital and a little girl but I won't go into detail and mess it up for you. It's hard to scare me and I could feel the hair on the back of my neck stand up. That's pretty impressive.
I'm glad I finally read this book. It's an excellent mix of romance, danger and excitement. Glines is an author that is here to stay! She's got a new fan in me, that's for sure! If you're a ghost story lover like me, you have got to read this book!

“You're the only thing I want most in the world yet the one thing I cannot have. Because to have you completely would be impossible. You cannot go where I walk." - I know it sounds morbid, but I would love to go there.
