Review | Bourjois CC Cream

Review | Bourjois CC CreamUp until last year I was very dubious about the whole BB/CC cream situation but using Dr Jart BB Cream and the Clinique CC Cream (review here) opened my eyes to the wonders of the new products. Today I'm sharing my opinion on the new release from Bourjois.Review | Bourjois CC Cream
I use the lightest shade of the Bourjois CC Cream (number 31) and it suits my fair skin really well. I did wonder why they haven't kept the same shade numbers from their foundations (51/52/53) but never mind, there are 3 shades to choose from so it shouldn't be too difficult to find the one to suit you.

Bourjois CC Cream contains 3 pigments to work its color correction magic; apricot for fatigue, green for redness and white to mask the dark spots. It definitely evens out my complexion and makes my skin look a lot smoother.

In terms of coverage, it's pretty light but buildable to medium if you wanted. I like to use the CC cream on its own for days when I don't want to wear lots of makeup (and  when I can't be bothered to spend ages applying various products - we all have those days, right?) It lasts at least  6-8 hours for me before I need to consider touching it up, something that's really impressive for a CC cream and especially for a product that's under £10!

I'd recommend it for the spring/summer transition if you're like me and prefer a lighter base over the (hopefully) warmer months and it's also great for younger skin which doesn't need a full face of foundation, but you want a light coverage that will even out your complexion.

I'm wearing the Bourjois CC Cream with NARS creamy concealer and a sweep of Rimmel Stay Matte powder (in transparent).

Have you tried Bourjois CC Cream? What did you think?
