Borgat Cotton Candy
Waddaboo Candy sent me some samples of Borgat Cotton Candy to review. Cotton candy or candy floss as I know it, was a childhood favorite of mine so I was really looking forward to trying it. Borgat Cotton Candy comes in 15g bags which is a great idea because I remember my mom not being so keen on me having a massive bag to myself when I was kid and sharing with 2 brothers wasn't going to happen either. Each foil bag contains 56 calories, no fat and is suitable for veggies.

It comes in 2 flavours; strawberry and apple and I was impressed by how much cotton candy you get for your 15g. I liked the bright bold packaging but I have to admit to being a little disappointed that the cotton candy was not the same colours as the bag indicated, it was more of an off white rather then the pink and green in the pictures.

I really enjoyed both flavours, probably the apple being my favorite and I loved how unlike the stuff from my childhood it wasn't massively sticky so no mess.
Verdict
Sometimes you just really want a sugar fix and this cotton candy will certainly scratch that itch. I think that the individually portioned bags are a great idea and I would love to see more flavours, perhaps cherry or lemon. Borgat cotton candy is available in several retailers such as co-op, Sewell Garages, Londis and many corner shops!
