The Airwrap-style auto-wrap curlers must be one of the primary factors in your decision to get it. Hence, I tested these accessories as my first ones. They claim to be simple to use, but is this really the case?
Except for a few small burns, I’ve never used a curling iron effectively before. I, therefore, picked up a curling barrel a little nervously.
There are two barrels, left and right, which are helpfully labeled. Your hair will curl away from your face if you use them on the side of your head which is advised. In contrast, the revised Airwrap now allows you to alter the airflow direction on the curling wands, but if you’re just starting out with wave style, you’ll value the FlexStyle’s flawless design.
Just divide a portion of hair, holding one end against the curling iron’s barrel. Your hair will be drawn towards the barrel by the air current and wrapped around.
The method for curling hair is straightforward, efficient, and even a little bit of a mini-scientific miracle. Although I’m not an expert, it just took me a few minutes to complete the next waves on my own.
My own hair is thin, ungainly, and neither silkily straight nor consistently wavy. But even so, I had little trouble getting reliable waves that lasted all day.
A style manual for the FlexStyle is included to assist you in using the attachments. Nonetheless, I’d suggest looking for an online tutorial to follow if you want to get the most out of it and produce more complicated patterns.
In her outstanding review of the Airwrap, my colleague Hannah provided some advice, and I took it. I applied it to hair that was only slightly damp, and gave it a salt spray spritz before using it, then, for results that would last longer, I would pin up the curls and use hair spray afterward.
The FlexStyle is transformed into a styler that is comparable to the Revlon One Step by the oval brush attachment. It can be used to smooth your hair and add volume to it. It is essentially a blowout instrument. The paddle brush, which is used to straighten hair, is the next item. These attachments worked well on my hair, but the outcome was much the same. But, I suppose that there would be a bigger difference if you have longer, thicker hair.
That is a good hair dryer, the FlexStyle. It is not as powerful as the Dyson Supersonic or (my personal favorite), the Zuvi Halo, but it is less noisy. But, given that you can save so much space on other style accessories, it’s portable, useful, and a terrific option for travel.
The diffuser has a great feature: you may retract or lengthen the prongs to fit your hair length. The concentrator works well to create smooth styles. If you want to keep your natural curls, the FlexStyle might be a better alternative than the Dyson Airwrap since it comes with an approved diffuser attachment.
When in use, the attachments click into place in a gratifying manner, and a release mechanism is provided to allow removal. The FlexStyle appears to be well-made and durable.
Price and availability – Is the FlexStyle worth the cost?
There is no escaping the shark flexstyle sale steep price of $299.99/£299.99. But it’s a fantastic style package all around. Yet not every styling tool will work for every type of hair. Some people with coils or curly hair may discover that there aren’t as many helpful tools.
