Design & Build:

Every angle of the Moto G73’s design is attractive. It uses a straightforward design but nevertheless manages to resemble a high-end phone. It surely helps that the back camera module is nice and symmetrical.
It is a quite tiny and light phone, measuring just 8.3mm and weighing 181g. The back and curving frame are both covered in a plastic exterior, and the fact that the color palette is consistent throughout gives it a really striking appearance.
The G73 is also available in Lucent White if you prefer it over the Midnight Blue you see in photographs. The color design on all versions extends to the power and volume buttons, which is a pleasant touch.
As you use the phone, all of these buttons are on the right side, leaving nearly no buttons on the left. The USB-C charging connector and even a 3.5mm audio jack, which are uncommon on contemporary smartphones, can be found near the bottom of the device.

It’s hardly surprising to see an LCD screen rather than an OLED one on this inexpensive phone. Even so, the display has a tonne of information and vivid, eye-catching hues. Additionally, with a brightness level of up to 405 nits, it is clearly visible in the majority of outdoor settings.
However, if you put it side by side with an OLED phone, you’ll see that the contrast is a little low and the blacks frequently appear gray.
You’ll experience slower speeds when using the display than on phones that are substantially more expensive. But rather than flaws in the display, this is mostly the result of a speedier procedure.
Screen responsiveness is often good, and the only time it lags behind flagships is when you’re playing games.
A selfie camera with a punch-hole interrupts the display, but other bezels are generally thin. All I want is for Motorola to quit insisting on having such a big chin.

One of the Moto G73’s main selling factors is performance. It has a 6nm Dimensity 930 MediaTek processor and 8GB of RAM.
The performance of a phone at this price is better than you may anticipate because the Dimensity 930 is very much a mid-range chip. It manages the fundamentals with a fair amount of ease, and the only major issues arise while running the most demanding programs and games.

It’s 50Mp and f/2.The highlight is unquestionably the 2 main lenses. You can take some very beautiful photographs with this phone in excellent lighting.
The only one of these three sensors that support autofocus is the 50Mp sensor, and it significantly improves the point-and-shoot experience. Close-up photographs require software when using a general-purpose macro lens. Impressive outcomes are achievable but only with a steady hand and just the perfect distance from the subject. It’s highly hit-and-miss. It’s not worth investing a lot of time in.
The 16Mp front-facing lens is significantly more remarkable, though. For portrait mode, it provides edge recognition that is better than expected, while standard selfies have natural tones and a respectable amount of detail. Excellent battery life has traditionally been a hallmark of Moto G phones, and the G73 is no exception.
It has a 5000mAh battery, which can often last all day even while using it for a lot of heavy chores. Battery life holds up well even if you want to use a lot of GPS and mobile internet and keep the brightness high.
The G73’s brightness for our battery test was lower than typical at 120 nits, but it nevertheless held a charge for 13 hours and 48 minutes. One of the phone’s most amazing capabilities is the effective regulation of power consumption.
There is a 30W converter in the box for when you do need to charge. Although it took the phone 15 minutes to go from 0% to 51%, we now anticipate much higher speeds from contemporary smartphones.
