Review: A Boy Called Christmas by Matt Haig

A Boy Called Christmas is a tale of adventure, snow, kidnapping, elves, more snow, and an eleven-year-old boy called Nikolas, who isn't afraid to believe in magic.

You are about to read the true story of Father Christmas.

A Boy Called Christmas is a treat, a delightful, charming Christmas fable. I absolutely loved it. This book contains all the elements of the perfect Christmas story - magic, elves, snow, chocolate coins, wishes coming true, sleigh rides and not forgetting the reindeer. There are some familiar elements in this story that can be found in a lot of Christmas tales but there are a whole host of original story elements. This book made me all warm and mushy inside and develop a craving for a mug of hot chocolate - with cream and marshmallows of course.
