The third season premiere highlights an apparent difference in approach. It’s almost as if this location (Lopinot Planation, Trinidad) was chosen to prove that very point. Had they investigated this location when Robb was in charge, I’m sure that Barry would have mentioned all the same legendary possibilities, but I can’t help but feel as though they would have been mitigated by the more balanced approach that GHI had at the time. Maybe that changes over time, but in this instance, it led to an investigative style that was hard for me to appreciate.
