This is apparently a very good week for the “Ghost Hunters” gang. Not only do they have a special airing as the lead-in to the new John Zaffis vehicle “Haunted Collector” (Jason often credits Zaffis as his mentor, pre-TAPS), but the series has been renewed for an eighth season. Considering how the franchise has seen its ratings slip this season, this is a surprisingly early pick-up.
