Retirement Advice Myths

Retirement is a very important step in one's life. It is the culmination of all of your hard work and years of financial planning. If I were you, I would start today, no matter what age you are, and open a Roth IRA and/or begin to contribute to a 401k.. of course if your job offers this excellent retirement vehicle.  
While beginning your portfolio never feel inadequate. You are in charge of your future. Don't let your financial advisor coax you into the latest hot stock or a get rich scheme.
