A restaurant owner was injured in a shooting carried out by unidentified assailants traveling in a car in the Soysapura area of Moratuwa.
According to the Police Media Spokesperson, the victim was shot by individuals who arrived in a vehicle and was subsequently admitted to hospital for treatment.
The motive behind the shooting and the identities of the suspects have not yet been established.
