It’s the end of an era. After using My Yahoo in order to keep up with blogs since the start of the blog, I’ve now given up on the service and instead will be using Feedly. It just does things a lot better than My Yahoo. Hopefully you’ll see the effects of that change in future RRM.
…For better or worse. Now, let’s get to the good reads this week!
- Japesland writes about being different, and being different means avoiding popular stuff that everyone seems to like.
- Anne checked out Alice in the Hearts the otome game. The otome game is poorly translated. That’s bad.
- Chris decided with school upcoming for many to explain how to properly cite and write essays, among other things. He also provides links to a bunch of interesting articles. Makes everything easy!
- Crunchyroll manga’s been out a while. Sean points out what they’ve released since the site started up, and also notices a pretty concerning trend among manga for females…or lack thereof of manga for females…
- There definitely is not a lot of horror anime out there…that are actually terrifying. (Psh, if anything, HxH is probably a horror series since my blood pressure rises whenever I watch an episode). E Minor does a good job reminding us of that, and takes a look at Yamishibai Season 2, which…doesn’t emote too much horror, but it’s decent enough.
- Interesting. There was a black character (well, half-black, half-Japanese) in The V Sign? You know, that manga I reviewed eons ago? That series? Huh…
- Finally, Lauren ended up, in an attempt to learn Japanese, to translate a doujinshi, and talked about that experience. The translation would be Yowapeda related…
