Redmi Watch launch date has been confirmed by Redmi India through a teaser video on the official Twitter account. The smartwatch is going to reveal on May 13 along with Redmi Note 10S at 12 pm via a virtual event that can be seen on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Instagram. it will be different from the Redmi Watch launched in China last year in November.
The company has also created a microsite for the event and teased some of the specifications. The upcoming redmi watch will feature 11 sport modes, sleep monitoring, heart rate monitoring, guided breathing, 200+ watch faces and more. The smartwatch will also sport GPS/Glonass for precise navigation and there is no need to carry your phone for navigation.
As per the teasers, it is looking that the Redmi Watch will launch in India as a rebranded version of Mi Watch Lite that debuted globally last year in December. The Mi Watch Lite also arrived with 11 sport modes, sleep monitoring, heart rate monitoring, guided breathing, and built-in GPS/ Glonass.
So Redmi Watch may come with a similar 1.4 inches color touch TFT display, 5 ATM water resistance, 9 days battery life on a single charge. User will be able to reject calls, view notifications ( not open the only view), change music, reminders to stay active and also the smartwatch will come with the find phone feature. However, the company hasn’t showcased the complete design and also doesn’t revealed detailed specifications yet so it is hard to conclude the smartwatch as a be rebranded version.
