The Redmi Note 13R smartphone was launched today. There are four models available in the market under the Redmi Note 13 series, namely, the standard Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 13R Pro. And now the sub brand of Xiaomi quietly added a new model to this lineup. The Redmi Note 13R is a toned-down variant of the Note 13R Pro. It is the successor to last year's Redmi Note 12R model with a few differences. Let's take a look at the price and all the specifications of the new phone.
Redmi Note 13R: Specifications and Features
The Redmi Note 13R phone has a 6.79-inch LCD display, which offers FullHD+ resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 550 nits peak brightness. For security, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. The Redmi Note 13R model is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The Redmi Note 13R phone's camera is the same as its predecessor. The phone's camera setup includes a dual camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens. And on the front of the phone there is an 8-megapixel primary camera for selfies, which is an upgrade over the 5-megapixel front camera of the Redmi Note 12R. The smartphone comes with a slightly larger 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. In terms of software, it runs HyperOS operating system based on Android 14.
Redmi Note 13R: Price and Availability
The Redmi Note 13R has arrived in the Chinese market in Silver, Midnight Black and Ice Crystal Blue color options. The price of the base 6 GB RAM + 128 GB variant of the phone is 1,399 Yuan (about Rs. 16,135). And the top-end 12 GB RAM + 512 GB model has been priced at 2,199 Yuan (about Tk 25,835). It is not yet known when the Redmi Note 13R will enter the Indian market.
