The tech community is waiting for the iconic upcoming smartphone Redmi K80 which will be the final member of the series. The company is expected to introduce flagship-level performance and camera features.
The Redmi K80 lineup, along with other devices, is expected to make its debut in July. As per the leaks, the Redmi K80 ultra is expected to house MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ which is a powerful SoC. If true, this will make the Redmi K80 Ultra a strong competitor in the flagship smartphone lineup. The processor will include a Cortex-X925 super core, three Cortex-X4 large cores, and four Cortex-A720 large cores.
If the leak is true as reported, the device will have a massive 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPS display with an R-angle design. The edges are expected to be narrow, but the devices may lack symmetrical bezels.
On top of this, the Redmi K80 ultra is expected to house an independent display chipset to enhance the screen clarity and visual experience. The dedicated processor will help the device render colors accurately and it will also make sure the device is power efficient.
The leak also talks about the camera dept. and according to the reports the Redmi K80 ultra is expected to house 50MP large sensor main camera module. The exact camera setup is still unverified. We will update you as soon as we find any update.
The device is also expected to house a large 7000mAh battery and the device will include a 100-watt fast charging to ensure fast charging and extended usage.
However the competition will not be a cakewalk for Redmi K80 ultra because of similar upcoming competitors like OPPO Find X8S and Vivo X200S which will be powered by the same processors. It will be interesting to see the pricing position of these devices in the coming months.
