Redmi K40 All Set to Launch with Snapdragon 888, Price Starts at CNY 2999

Redmi K40 is ready to make its debut in china very soon. On Monday, The Chinese tech company official confirmed the Redmi k40’s starting price and some of its key specifications on Weibo. The Smartphone is expected to be run on MIUI 12 on top of Android 11 out of the box.

Xiaomi is all set to launch the successor of the Redmi K30 series very soon. Today, Redmi General Manager, Lu Weibing shared a teaser on its official Weibo channel. As per the teaser, The base variant of the Redmi K40 priced at 2999 yuan (around Rs.33,999). Further, He also revealed that the device is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 SoC, Adreno 660 GPU, and packed with a 4000mah battery. In terms of display, He said that redmi’s upcoming flagship could feature the “most expensive straight screen”.


Earlier, The live images of Redmi K40 surfaced over the internet which hinted that it will have a Penta rear camera setup and a punch-hole cutout at the top center of the display. The handset will feature a USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, and a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom, a sim slot on the left side, and lastly, the volume rockers and power button will be located on the right side.
