The codename “N12” mentioned in a Weibo (Chinese microblogging website) post by tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) may refer to the Redmi K70 Ultra. The tipster said that it will have a chipset with model number MT6989. Incidentally, this model number is actually linked to the MediaTek Dimension 9300.
He also said that the Redmi K70 Ultra will have a 5,500mAh battery, which will support 120W fast charging. DCS said earlier that it will come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Going by these data, it is assumed that the Redmi K70 Ultra is likely to be the most powerful K70 series phone from the brand.
The Redmi K70 Ultra is also rumored to have 8 OLED panels, which will offer 1.5K resolution. The screen can offer a peak brightness of around 5,000 nits. Needless to say, the device will run on the latest Android 14 and HyperOS software skin.
