A new budget smartphone under the Xiaomi Redmi brand is ready to be launched in India. This smartphone is the Redmi 7A’s successor Redmi 8A. The Redmi 7A has introduced in India two months ago in July. Now two months later, the launch of Redmi 8A has been confirmed.
This launch has been confirmed by Redmi India by tweeting. The tweet states that get ready for the powerful Redmi 8A, it will be introduced in India on 25 September. The tweet uses the hashtag #DumdaarRedmi8A.
The tweet suggests that it will have a 5000mAh battery. At the same time, the picture used in the tweet shows that the display size will be more than before and it will be with the Waterdrop Notch Design Display. The Redmi 8A smartphone coming with the Waterdrop Notch display will be the first smartphone of the Redmi A-series.
Just as the Redmi 7A had better specifications than the Redmi 6A, the Redmi 8A will have better specifications than the Redmi 7A. The Redmi 8A was recently listed on TENAA. Its possible specifications were revealed by TENAA, according to which the Redmi 8A will feature a 6.2-inch HD Plus dot notch display with a screen resolution of 1520 × 720 pixels. It will run on a 2.0GHz octa-core processor.
It will feature 2GB + 16GB, 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB storage. The smartphone will also support expandable storage of up to 512GB via microSD card. The device will have a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel sensor at the front for selfies. The Redmi 8A will run Android 9 Pie operating system with MIUI 10 and will have a 5000mAh battery.
Talk about the specifications of the Redmi 7A, it has a 5.45-inch HD Plus full-screen display, whose screen resolution is 1440 x 720 pixels and the aspect ratio is 18: 9. This smartphone runs with a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and Adreno 505 GPU. This smartphone has 2GB RAM + 16GB / 32GB storage.
