As shared earlier, Xiaomi has just launched the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in China. Both the variants that were launched today came with a large battery and a near bezel-less 18:9 aspect ratio display. Apart from similarities in design, the phones are different in terms of the processor used and the display size with the 5 Plus being the larger and the powerful one.
Xiaomi claims that the 18:9 aspect ratio would provide a better experience while playing games and multimedia consumption. Both the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus come in multiple variants depending on their RAM and internal storage.
