Xiaomi has hit a purple patch in India. Its budget smartphones like Redmi Note 3, Note 4, Redmi 3S and Redmi 4A have been selling like hot cakes. The company recently launched its latest budget smartphone Redmi 4 in India. It went on sale earlier today on exclusively on Amazon.in, today. Amazon witnessed a remarkable interest from the customers and sold more than 250,000 units within 8 minutes of launch.
Redmi 4 which currently is available for customers in two variants, the 2GB RAM + 16 GB storage variant priced at Rs. 6,999 and the 3GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant which is priced at Rs. 8,999 witnessed over 2.3 million ‘notify me’ alerts from customers following the launch announcement on 16 May 2017.
