Redken Colour Extend Magnetics Review

Hi Ladies!

I’m doing another review today which I’ve been excited to share with you. I’ll be reviewing the Redken color extend magnetics hair mask from Hair Trade via Etail PR.

Hair trade is the best place to buy hair products & hair extensions, they have such a huge range of different products, hair trade also have hair tutorials and tips & advice on looking after your hair. Redken Colour Extend Magnetics Review
The history of my hair!
I’ve dyed my hair since the age of about 15, I always wanted dark hair, my natural colour is a mousy brown color but there’s just something I love about dark hair. About 6/7 years ago I even tried going blonde to try something a bit different, I damaged my hair in the process and blonde hair didn’t even suit me, I don’t know what I was thinking! Last year I had ombre hair which I loved however I dyed over it for my wedding and I’ve stayed the one color since. My colourist who is my amazing sister who owns Elem Hair in Cambridge is absolutely amazing, she knows what I want & gives me lots of tips and advice on looking after my hair. My Hair Type
My hair is very straight and is quite heavy so it’s quite hard to add any waves or curls to my hair as they just fall out, It’s also hard to add volume to my hair so I try & stick to a sleek straight look. I try not to use too much heat on my hair. Due to dying my hair, it can have a tendency to go a bit dry & frizzy especially in winter as the central heating is so bad for our hair I give my hair special attention during winter. Redken Colour Extend Magnetics mask review The Redken color extend magnetics mask is perfect for coloured hair which is dry and damaged. Not only does it help to keep coloured hair in good condition it also helps the color to last longer! Redken Color Extend Magnetics Mask attracts to color molecules, trapping them into the hair fiber to help preserve color richness. I love the consistency of this hair mask, it feels so luxurious and as soon as it’s applied to my hair I can feel it working. The consistency is quite thick so it easily coats the hair. Redken Colour Extend Magnetics Review I start off by washing my hair with my regular shampoo, I shampoo my hair twice to make sure it’s nice & clean. I then towel dry my hair and comb it through using a tangle teaser. Hair products always take better to the hair when your hair is semi dry. I add the redken color extend magnetics mask to my hair leaving out the roots, I then wrap my hair in a towel and leave for about half an hour, the packaging advises leaving on for 15 mins so it’s up to you depending on your hair type.
Once the mask has worked it’s magic I then rinse off, towel dry my hair and add a bit of volumising moose & a heat protect spray, I then rough dry my hair using a hair dryer, straighten & finish off with some hair oil.

There’s no doubt that the Redken color extend magnetics mask is an amazing product that will give you great results leaving your hair soft and in great condition and your colour will last a lot longer! Redken Colour Extend Magnetics Review
