Red Right Hand (2024) Review

Cash is attempting to live a nice quiet life with his brother and niece but when Big Cat wants him back on her services he doesn’t have a choice to try and protect those he loves.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

To begin with everything seems like quite a normal life for Cash as he is taking care of his niece Savannah after her mother had passed away and giving support to his brother who was massively struggling with it all. He seems like a very caring man, we find out that he had a very colourful and interesting past.

That was working with Big Cat a truly sadistic kinpin and will stop at nothing to have everyone in fear and do exactly what she wants, and when she wants. That included getting Cash back to do another job for her, even with claims that it was just one job which quickly shows that she was never going to allow that.

We get some twists and turns as the plot goes on and the action is pretty good at times, with some extremely violent moments as well which were rather graphic and I wasn’t expecting that from what can be really labelled a b-film. Which is one of the reasons I thought it was actually a lot better than expected.

Obviously my reason for watching this was Orlando Bloom, fangirl here since 2001 and still going strong. I do still enjoy following his career with some obscure films and performances and his American accent in this is pretty good. Quite frankly though I have always and will always watch whatever he does. Andie MacDowell needs a shout out for being utterly devastating as the crime boss and was certainly a very different type of role, so fair play for her going all in.
