Red is the New Black

I love a good wedding and most people will agree the majority tend to happen over the summer, but to my surprise I was invited to my first autumn one.  The first thing that popped into my mind was clothing, I have every dress possible for a spring/summer wedding but nothing for autumn winter...
I'd usually go for pinks, lilacs and delicate tones so finding something for colder months was tough.  Now I'm not usually a 'red' person but when I saw this dress I had to have this Chi Chi Ava Dress. 
I know I could for gone dramatic accessories but I felt the dress was so eye catching I didn't need much or it would of been too much.
A lot of old school friends were there so I really wanted to look good, many said they didn't even recognize me! I'm still unsure if that's a good thing or not...
 My make up was quite simple too. I focused on my eyes with my Bourjois liquid eyeliner and lips with a stand-out Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick.

There you have it my look for a winter wedding.  Sometimes I find a statement piece such as this particular dress is perfect on it's own, why clutter the look up when it does all the talking? Exactly.
