Red Dead Redemption 2 Horse Bonding level – Levels
There are 4 Horse Bonding Levels and you will have to reach it with each horse independently. You’ll get multiple advantages including:
1º Level (Horse health and resistance): you’ll increase your horse’s health and resistance levels.
2º Level (Call your horse): you’ll be able to call him from a long distance and during combat.
3º Level (Deeper water and more challenging grounds): your horse will be able to cross deep water and go through more complex ground.
4º Level (Steal): your horse will be more difficult to steal.

In some Levels you’ll find additional maneuvers while you’re riding.
2º Level (To get up): If you keep R1 pressed (hold) and tap square, your horse will get up.
3º Level (To skid): hold R1 and X and you’ll make a skid turn or skid brake.
4º Level (Piaffe): hold square to perform a Piaffe.

There are some moves that will help you increase the Bonding Level:
- Ride, swim, walk and jog with your horse, in general spend time with him. We start with this method because with an automatic horse you can do what you want without having to touch the
- Feed your horse: they sell horse food in the stables though be careful because overfeeding him has its negative effects.
- Calm you horse down when it’s agitated by predators or enemies. Press the left joystick to calm him
