Red a Central Focus in Latest Abstract Painting

By Abstractartbylt @artbylt

In my last two abstract paintings, I began with dark red on the edges and gradually moved from reds, oranges, and yellows into a light-colored center.  In this one, I did the opposite:  I painted the edges with unbleached titanium, parchment, and white, gradually moving into a dark red center.  It was all painted with small brush strokes placed on top of one another, giving it an impressionist feel.
