I know record albums are back on everyone’s radar as “cool." I actually had a ton of old records in my garage that I recently went through. After removing The Beatles and Pink Floyd albums, I decided I was feeling crafty…
I chose 9 seemingly unimportant records to begin my project. I thought of some edgy, yet somewhat neutral colors to spray paint my records. I went with a metallic gold and a metallic silver. I took the records outside, placed them on some newspapers, and spray painted away.
I really love how they turned out. After letting them dry, I coated them in a clear spray that will keep the gold a silver from wiping off so easily. After that spray dried, I used removable poster strips to tape them to my wall without damaging them and my wall.
