DC Editor Adam writes…
Well it was an EVENTFUL night on the
London Walks Rock'n'Roll London Pub Walk last night.
The venue where the live music
portion of the tour was supposed to take place became unavailable to us at the
last minute (!) and when plans B & C also fell through, a spot of
improvising was called for.
So… last night's LIVE music took place in… the
street! Denmark Street to be precise, alfresco, an old-school busking set of
Dylan, Paul Simon & The Kinks.
Thanks to my lovely walkers from Florida,
Austin TX, Putney (via Sydney), Mississippi, Wisconsin, Denmark and Ealing who
took this impromptu gig in their collective stride!
Thanks also to the guys at the Royal George
Charing Cross Road for a warm welcome - and the same goes for The Cambridge
pub, our second stop.
The Rock'n'Roll London Pub walk with LIVE
Music goes again next Wednesday.
Here's how U.S news producer Jim Albritton captured the action…
