These spooky jellies are ideal for all the family this Halloween. A lot healthier than most Halloween treats, these orange jellies will make you wonder why you haven't tried them before. All you need is chocolate, oranges and gelatine (and maybe some skill for the cobwebs)

Recipe: Spooky Spider Halloween Jelly

Ingredients

12 oranges (enough juice to make 500mls)
4 strips gelatine
25g dark chocolate

Instructions

Peel the oranges and juice until you have enough to reach 500 mls in a jug.
Pour the orange juice into a pot and cook until nearly boiling.
Remove from the heat.
In a separate bowl, add the gelatine strips to cold water.
Leave for 5 mins until spongy and softened.
Squeeze out any excess water.
Stir the gelatine into orange juice until it dissolves.
Let the mixture cool a little, then divide between 4-6 small serving dishes.
Place in the fridge for at least 5 hours or preferably overnight.

Cover a baking sheet with some baking paper.
Melt the chocolate.
Pour the melted chocolate in to a small piping bag.
Now pipe out 4-6 spider web shapes onto the baking paper.
Place in the fridge to harden.
Peel chocolate cobweb away from the paper.
Place on top of the jelly.
