The Best Home Made Ginger Tea

It’s the depths of winter and feeling grim, sniffly noses and needing a boost?  Try making some home-made ginger tea.  Don’t buy pre-packed tasteless stuff, try this easy recipe for some zing.

This recipe takes ten mins to make and will serve two people, the same as a good cup of coffee only much better for you.  Ginger tea is good for stomach aches, headaches, colds and just general feeling meh.

Buy your ginger from your local Asian supermarket – it will be generally cheaper and fresher than from the main stores.  We love using ginger in everything as it has so many alleged health benefits  and it tastes good as well.  Use more ginger for a spicier drink, or don’t grate and slice the ginger for a lighter brew.

Add some extras such as mint leaves, chamomile and cinnamon for different tastes.
