Clowes Conversations: The Art & History of Tagging
Clowes Memorial Hall of Butler University launched a new program called ‘Clowes Conversations.’ 1980s New York City graffiti writer Brame UW, RTR, RFA, IBS, BTF was the inaugural speaker with his presentation ‘The Art & History of Tagging.’ Brame guided the audience through the history of tagging from ancient cave paintings to New York City subway graffiti. Presentation was followed by Q&A, Tagging Activity (audience participation), and After Party.
