This post is reblogged from my other site Sole Vision, the official blogsite of Eduardo D. Leyson IV.
After the launching of the Batch 43 Kabalikat Sa Kabuhayan Farmers
Training Program in Barangay Ligaya, General Santos City last June 7,
2012, here comes the Harvest Festival! Today, September
12, 2012 at Barangay Ligaya, farmers trained during the 4 month span
were about to harvest fully grown vegetables.
With SM Foundation Inc., and its partners namely the Local Government Unit of General Santos headed by its chief executive Mayor Darlene Magnolia R. Antonino-Custodio with City Agriculturist Merlinda Donasco and Committee Chairperson on Food & Agriculture Eduardo D. Leyson IV, HarBest Agritech Services and the Department of Agriculture,
farmers who wish to continue to learn in improving their family income
by cultivating high yielding vegetables were receiving technical and
educational assistance nationwide.
"The main objective is to help the
farmers in General Santos City produce high quality yielding fruits and
vegetables to the market in order to improve their quality of living."
