Joining a collection of ROM-COM 2022 Netflix release is the Senior Year of Rebel Wilson. Wilson, who also produced films together with Todd Garner and Chris Bender, had taken a break from acting in 2020 to focus on his health. This story follows a cheers who tried to reclaim his secondary school life after a coma of 20 years. Senior year will be released on Netflix in May 2022.Alex Hardcastle (Grace and Frankie, Love, Simon) directed, and Brandon Scott Jones wrote a script based on the specifications of Andrew Knauer and Arthur Pielli. Hardcastle, famous for directing the episode of the TV and Recreation Serial, Grace and Frankie, and the office will direct the film feature for the first time.
Jeremy Stein, Jake Wagner, and Jake Weiner are executive producers. Paramount Players, a new division of Paramount Pictures that focuses on contemporary genre films from newer director, will produce films with Netflix. The film was initially not announced to be on Netflix, but it seems that the Streamer has been quietly gaining the right to be seen in the 1242 edition of production every week.

The story of the senior year Netflix follows a high school cheerleader who built from a 20 -year coma and returned to high school to try to regain its status and claim the crown of the Ratu Prom who avoided it. This is the film logline:This comedy was set in 1997 and told the story of Ruby, the most popular girl in her secondary school. He is the captain of a cheerleader forces, dating quarterback and is on his way to become a prom queen. Girl wants to be him and a guy want to be with him. He has everything – until he falls from the pyramid of the cheerleader and coma. Forward quickly 20 years later and Ruby finally woke up from a coma as a 37 -year -old woman. He returned to his secondary school and tried to take his role as his school star. Most importantly, he is still preparing to win the crown as the Queen Prom.

Netflix senior year will be led by Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect, Jojo Rabbit), who plays the main role of Ruby. Wilson returned to acting with the senior year after taking the year of rest in 2020 during that time he lost 60 pounds.This will be the first Netflix Full Netflix Rebel on Netflix. What’s the production status on Senior Year?
Thanks to the 1242 weekly production edition, we know that the senior year began to be produced in May 2021.The first batch of shooting officially began in Atlanta, Georgia on May 25, and ran on July 6, 2021. After a short break, film making continued on July 8 before finally ending on September 4, 2021.
