Realme has released an updated version of the Realme Book laptop named Realme Book Enhanced Edition. The new version of Realme Book Enhanced was introduced in China with the latest generation of Intel Core i5 H series 11 processor.
The new chipset offers up to 21.8% more multicore performance, but also a higher TDP. The laptop remains pretty much the same from the outside, but receives improvements in terms of cooling. Realme Book Enhanced Edition Features
Last year, Realme entered the PC space with Realme Book (Slim). The company has now announced a new addition to its PC suite: Realme Book Enhanced Air. Powered by the 11th generation Intel processor, the new Realme Book Enhanced Air offers improvements over its predecessor. This device features an upgraded 11th Gen Intel i5-11320H processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD storage, and liquid chamber cooling. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest Realme laptop.
Realme Book Enhanced Edition is, as the name suggests, an improved version of Realme Book. Instead of the i5-1135G7, the new Intel Core i5-11320H Willow Cove processor is now available. The new SoC has a 4.5 GHz higher single-core turbo frequency and offers multicore performance up to 21.8% faster than the previous model. Single-string performance also improved by 9.6%.
In addition to the faster chipset, Realme is also expected to improve the cooling of the laptop. The upgraded version has an improved dual-fan cooling system that offers up to 32.7% better heat dissipation. This laptop also has a faster Intel Xe graphics card. You get 16GB of DDR4 RAM, 512GB of NVMe storage, and you’re running Windows 11 with Microsoft Office pre-installed.
The other specifications remain the same as the Realme Book Slim.
The new Realme Book Enhanced Air features a 14-inch 2K IPS LCD screen with a maximum brightness of 400 nits, a normal brightness of 330 nits, 100% sRGB, a contrast ratio of 1500: 1 and an aspect ratio of 3: 2 It has a 720p webcam on the top of the chin. This laptop has a 3-level backlit keyboard with 1.3mm key pitch. This device has a fingerprint sensor built into the power button and two speakers customized by Harman.
This laptop packs a 54-watt-hour battery and promises 12 hours of battery life on a single charge. Comes with 65 watt power supply. However, you can also use the Realme Flash Dart 30W charger to charge your laptop. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C 3.2 x 2 Gen 2 port, USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 port, and Thunderbolt 4 (maximum data rate: 40 Gbps).
Realme Book Enhanced Edition Price in India
The Realme Book Enhanced Air will go on sale in China on January 21 for 4,699 yuan (approximately Rs 55,000). The new laptop will be available in a version with i5-11320H processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It is available in two colors: Sky Blue and Island Gray. The company also offers its customers a discount of 300 yuan (approximately Rs 3,500) for the purchase of Realme Book Enhanced.
