The Real Men Wear Pink Poker Tournament was a great success! Congratulations to Dylan on winning the $1800 jackpot on behalf of Real Men Wear Pink Candidate, Nash Donahue!
Ironwood Finance hosted its first Annual No Limit Texas Hold'em Real Men Wear Pink Poker Tournament on October 29th. There was a great turnout and they plan to continue the tournament every year to raise breast cancer awareness. There was a $100 buy in and the tournament raised $1800 for breast cancer awareness for the American Cancer Society.
It came down to a final Texas Hold'em hand with Dylan up against Kim Shick with My Home Team Media. Dylan started with a Queen and 9 up against Kim's pocket 10s, but in the end, Dylan ended up winning with a Queen turn card!
"This tournament was completely unique and I met people I would have never met at another type of networking event!" Kim commented on her time playing the tournament, "I found out backgrounds of new people I wouldn't normally have met and I think there is so much we could build on here. Talking about different ways to fundraise and bouncing ideas off of each other was great. I had a blast and it was just an incredible event, just wish I could have won that last hand! Will definitely be playing again next year."
